The vibratos have a really bad rep but I actually quite like them. 350s are really nice guitars, with the usual caveats that Rickenbacker necks are their own thing and you'll either learn to love it or they're not the band for you. They don't sound quite the same as the 325 but they're close enough and a lot easier to play for most people. The more accessible version is the 350, which gives you the same small semi hollow body but a normal full size neck. You'll need beefy strings on it, from memory I think they come with 12s from the factory. Lennon apparently really liked them like that, but they're a very strange guitar. The scale length is under 21' so they take a big readjustment to get comfortable on. For anyone who's never played a 325, they're small.
